Soy wax is renewable and biodegradable, burns with far less soot and smoke than paraffin, melts at a lower temperature so it burns slower and longer, and holds fragrance well, so the scent lingers.

Our 200 ml jar candle burns for up to 36 hours and our tea lights for about 6 hours. Urali, glass and floating candles burn for a time that depends on their size.

An urali is a wide, shallow bowl used in Indian homes for floating flowers and diyas during Diwali and other festivals. An urali candle is soy wax poured into a decorative urali, so it works as both a candle and festive decor.

On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge to avoid tunnelling. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use, burn for up to 4 hours at a time, keep it away from drafts, children and pets, and never leave a lit candle unattended.
