These terms apply when you use ashanjali.in (the "website") or buy from us. The website and the Ashanjali Apothecary brand are operated by Anjali Ajit Patil, proprietor of Anjali Enterprises, a sole proprietorship with its registered address at Plot No. 17, R.S. No. 871/1, Abhishek Residency, Karande Mala, Tal. Karvir, Kolhapur 416003, Maharashtra, India (GSTIN 27AMDPP0533G2Z9), referred to as "we" or "us". By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Products

We sell handmade soy wax candles and home fragrance products. We describe and photograph every product as accurately as we can, but because each piece is hand-poured, colour, shape, size and fragrance may vary slightly from the photos.

2. Prices and payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping is charged separately and shown before you pay.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited through UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets. We never see or store your full card details.
• We may change prices at any time, but the price you paid for a confirmed order will not change.
• If a product is listed at a wrong price because of an error, we will tell you and either cancel the order with a full refund or ship it at the correct price if you agree.

3. Orders

An order is confirmed when we receive your payment and send you a confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product is out of stock, we cannot deliver to your address, or we suspect fraud.

4. Delivery

We deliver within India as set out in our shipping policy. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

5. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellations, returns and refunds are handled under our cancellation, returns and refunds policy.

6. Candle safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children, pets, curtains and anything that can catch fire. Burn on a heat-resistant surface, trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use, and stop using a candle when 1 cm of wax remains. Floating candles should only be used in water. We are not liable for loss or injury caused by unsafe use.

7. Your account and conduct

If you create an account, keep your login secure and give us accurate details. Do not misuse the website, try to break its security, or use it for anything unlawful.

8. Intellectual property

The Ashanjali Apothecary name, logo, photos, designs and text on this website belong to us. You may not copy or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier delays, natural events, strikes or government action. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.

11. Customer support and grievances

For help with an order, contact us on WhatsApp at +91 98814 02522, call +91 98814 02522 or email hello@ashanjali.in (Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm IST). Complaints can also go to our grievance officer, Ajinkya Patil, at ajinkya@ashanjali.in. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to settle any dispute with you amicably. If that fails, the courts at Kolhapur have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
